Reading Review 2
Today my brother Sam and I are visiting our grandparents. They live in the north of
the country. We are taking the train to visit them.
Sam is still packing his suitcase.
“Are you ready, Sam? We do not want to miss the train,” I say.
“Now I am ready!” says Sam.
We start walking to the train station. Sam is walking behind me. He is looking at
everything. “Let’s go, Sam! We do not want to miss our train,” I say.
After 15 minutes, we arrive at the train station.
I look at the information board to find our train,
but I can’t find it. I ask one of the workers at the station.
“Excuse me, I have a question. Where is the train to the north?”
“Go straight and then turn left. It is train number 4,” the
worker says.
I start walking, but Sam is still looking at the information board. “Let’s go, Sam!
Our train is leaving in one minute!” Sam looks sad, but he starts walking. We get on
the train and find our seats.
“Why are you looking at everything? It takes a lot of time!” I say to Sam.
“This is my first time taking a train. Everything is so interesting! ” Sam says.
I feel bad. I forgot (Hebrew/Arabic) that this is Sam’s first time taking the train.
“Hey, Sam, let’s look out the window. I know there are many interesting things to see
on our trip to the north”.
Sam smiles. He is happy. We both look out the window.
