- Do the special greeting with Max: How are you today? Fine, So-so, Cool.
Use the appropriate gestures.

Have pupils pass the ball and ask each other questions: What is your name?
How are you? How do you feel? Are you a boy or a girl? What is your
phone number?
Ask: What day is today? What day was yesterday? What day is
tomorrow?

- Have a volunteer point to letters previously learned.
Game

ABC - Guessing Game (game #59)
- Practice previously learned letters with a guessing game. Say: I am
thinking of a word that begins with the letter ___ and the sound /_ /.
Do this several times. Call on individual pupils to come to the front of the
room and lead the game.

Pick a card (game #60)
- Go around the room with flashcards of previously learned letters. Ask a
pupil to pick a card and say the letter and a word that begins with that letter.
