- As you sing, stick flashcards on the board according to the words of the
song.
- Sing with pupils while pointing to the flashcards on the board.
- Hand out flashcards to individual pupils. Have the pupils come to the front
of the room and stand in a circle. Tell them to enter the circle when their
character appears in the song.
- At the beginning of the song, you stand in the middle of the circle and play
the farmer. Go to the pupil with the flashcard of a child and take him/her
into the circle. S/He then goes and brings the next character in the song into
the circle, etc. After the mouse is called, all the pupils move out of the
center and the cheese stands alone.
