Choose a word from the reviewed words. Don't tell the pupils the word you chose. Begin drawing
the word on the board. Have the pupils guess which word you are drawing.
Have the pupil who guessed correctly come to the board to play the next round. Play several rounds
to practice the words.
The activity can be done as a whole class or as a team/small group competition.

Course Book page 82, task 1

Ask pupils: What do you see? (Accept any logical answer). Write correct answers on the board.

Note: Offer an alternative for less strong pupils. Have pupils point out different elements in the
picture, focusing on those that are new vocabulary words. Say: Point to a customer., Point to the
chef., etc.
Have pupils match each sentence to the corresponding part of the picture.

Have pupils choose the correct word to complete the sentences.

Before listening, read the speech bubble together with the pupils. Elicit from the pupils who they think is
speaking. Determine that it is Zoya’s mother.
