Have pupils follow the instructions to complete the performance-based task (PBT). Have pupils assess
their work by completing the performance task checklist on page 279 of the Workbook.

Have pupils share their work with other groups and be sure to praise pupils for their work.

Tell pupils: Different families come from different places and make different types of food at home.
You and your friends might like similar or different foods. Have pupils compare their favorite food with
their classmates’ favorite foods.

Use the Performance Task Rubric in Appendix IV b to assess the pupils' work.

Have pupils complete the unit self-assessment for self-evaluation in the Workbook on page 137.
