Good morning Hillside teachers and students!
1 Today is a special day at Hillside School. Today, you, the students, are choosing the new
student council president! Alex and Zoya are members of the student council and they both
want to be the president. This morning, you are all listening to Alex and Zoya. They want to
tell you how they can make Hillside School a better place for you.
2 If you want to hear Alex’s ideas, go to the football field. Alex is finding out how much time
every class wants to have on the football field. He is also asking students what other sports
they want to play. Choose Alex if you want more time to play sports.
3 If you want to hear Zoya’s ideas, stay in your classroom. Zoya is coming to every classroom
and asking the students and teachers what type of computer to buy for the students. Choose
Zoya if you think every student should have a computer to use during school.
4 At noon, everyone is going to room five. You can find a red box there. Write the name of the
person you choose to be president on a paper. Put the paper in the red box.
