Listening Script Unit 5 Page 203 #3
Amir: Hi everyone! We have a surprise guest here with us tonight. I’m sure we will all
be excited to see the guest, especially after three years!
Alex: I already know who it is!
Amir: That’s great Alex. But please don’t tell anyone. Everyone else wants to guess.
Alex: OK. I will not say anything.
Amir: Let’s all think about Grade 3. Who was the best football player?
Zoya: Ted!
Amir: That is not correct!
Ted: Amir, do I need to remind you that I’m here and I’m listening?
Amir: I’m sorry, Ted. You are a much better football player now.
The next question is: Who made us laugh during lunchtime?
Jade: Grant!
Amir: Jade, you are correct! You are the winner!
Jade: I knew our waiter was Grant the whole time!
Alex: I recognized him too!
Grant: Hi everyone. It’s great to see you all again.
Amir: Grant! You gave us a surprise. Now we have one for you. Here is a shirt with a
picture of Hillside Village on the front. It’s not just any shirt. Everyone will write
messages to you on the shirt before they leave the party.
Grant: Wow! Thank you! I will wear it tomorrow.
