Review the pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, you (plural), they

Say the following sentences and demonstrate the motions:

I can stand up. (Do the motion yourself.) We can jump. (Do the motion with a volunteer pupil.)

You can stand up. (Point to a volunteer pupil to do the motion.) You can stand up. (Point to several
pupils to do the motion.)
•
He can stand up. (Ask a boy pupil to do the motion.) She can stand up. (Ask a girl pupil to do the
motion.) They can stand up. (Ask both the girl and the boy to do the motion.)

Show the images: chocolate, sheep, three, photograph. Elicit the words from the pupils, then elicit the
first two letters of each word. Remind pupils that /ch/ = CH, /sh/ = SH, /th/ = TH, and /f/ can = PH.

Show the images: camera, cinema, glass, garbage. Elicit the words from the pupils. Ask pupils to identify
the hard and soft G and hard and soft C in the words.
•
Say and have pupils complete the sentences: Do you like nature? Do you like animals?
