Have pupils say the sound written at the beginning of the line.

Vocab Activity
•
Do the activity to review the vocabulary: after, before, candy, different, difficult, exercise, field, lose,
meal, pass, player, rice, soup, sport, tennis, win.
•
Word Association (VA #4)
Say one of the vocabulary words and have pupils quickly respond with another word that they
associate with it. For example, say “win” and pupils may respond “lose” or “game.”
Accept any logical answer.
Play a few rounds to practice different words.
