Do the activity to review and practice the vocabulary (show the word cards): across, amazing, hill, house,
little, narrow, neighbor, over, park, restaurant, road, side, store, village, whole, wide.

Chain Game (VA #12)
Demonstrate the game by saying: I walk in the village, and I see (a house).
Ask a pupil: What do you see? Have the pupil say what you saw, then add another word to the list: I
see a (house) and (a tree).
Pupils can use the words on the board to help them or add another relevant word.
Continue until all pupils have added to the sentence.
Have pupils play in groups. The larger the group, the more difficult the game is.
