Listening Script Unit 1 Page 55 #3
Mom: Alex, can you help me set the table?
Alex: OK. But I don’t know how.
Mom: First, put the plates on the table.
Alex: Where should I put the spoons, knives, and forks?
Mom: Put a fork on the left side of the plate. Put a knife on the right side of the plate.
Alex: Where do I put the spoons?
Mom: Put a spoon next to the knife, on the right.
Alex: And what about the glasses?
Mom: The glasses should be above the knife and the spoon. You can leave the mugs
in the kitchen for now. If we want to drink tea or coffee at the end of the meal, then
we can bring the mugs to the table.
